Hans Rotenberry and The Shazam have joined the line-up for Freedom Sings at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe. This annual event is hosted by the First Amendment Center and the band is proud to be invited to join in the festivities.
"Super Tuesday," from the band's acclaimed second album, Godspeed The Shazam, is a favorite, especially during any election cycle.
The New Yorker placed it in the #2 position (behind Alice Cooper's "Elected") in their Playlist: Songs About Voting back in 2012, the year of the last presidential election. Read about it here.
Note that this show at the Bluebird is already sold out. For Nashville area residents, you can always line up prior to doors opening to try to snag a seat from the few that are released at showtime. BUT, if you want to be guaranteed a spot to see The Shazam play their full rock n roll show, mark your calendars for November 4. They will be performing at Nashville's Mercy Lounge at 9 PM.
